Just tols I need gall bladder surgery, What can I expect?

If you are having laparoscopic gallbladder surgery, you will be given a general anesthesia, and the doctor will remove your gallbladder by making about 4 small cuts in your abdomen for the instruments. Your belly will be filled with air in order to perform the operation, and the gallbladder will be pulled out through one of the incisions. You should be able to go home the same day. You may have gas pains from your air being filled with belly, and incision pain, but other than that it's not so bad.
