Amd phenom 2 1090T VS 1055T?
Yes they are the same cept the clock speed. Multitasking mostly depends on RAM. It depends what the clock speed of each core runs at and the cache . There is more shifting in which each core does with each task or handle. The higher the cache the better the shifting is handled. Intel's hexacores have twice the cache at 12mb L3 and they handle the shifts much better. Here is a comparison of 3.2GHz clock six core CPUs. a href="http://www.newegg.com/Product/Productcompare.aspx?Submit=ENE&N=100007671%20600030238&IsNodeId=1&bop=And&ShowDeactivatedMark=False&CompareItemList=343|19-115-066^19-115-066-02%23%2C19-103-849^19-103-849-TS" rel="nofollow"http://www.newegg.com/Product/Productcom…/a So if its a AMD you want cus of the price go with the quad core because it handles the switches using the same amount of cache as a AMD Phenom II X4 955.
