I have a boyfriend of two years . i'v always had the feeling that his dad & stepmom dont like me because we?

have a few year age difference . i have never did anything wrong to make them not like me . my boyfriend is now going to in the w.v air national guard . & today he had his third meeting with the recruiter they told him to bring anyone who had questions or wanted to know how things would work while he's away . my boyfriend wanted me to come . i felt i should have went i mean we are in a very commited relationship . his dad got mad that i was coming & said that only family should be there . my boyfriend told him i was part of his family & he dad refused to beleive i should be there . i'v been crying & upset all day . i feel lik things are never gonna be the same now that i know his dad doesnt like me & obvisly im not very fond of him either now . what should i do ? should we break up . or should i just try to push threw his parents hating me forever !
