I want to know if there are other ways to find this?

I was recently looking up sites to talk to people. Whether it's social networking sites or chat room sites, the only problem is I cant seem to find any decent ones. I find alot that are for hookups, meeting, etc. I'm looking for just a chat, just to talk to people that is safe and dependable. Something that I will want to keep using. So if anyone knows any sites, any resources to help me out with this subject please feel free to share. I will do my best to return the favor in the future. Thank you.
