Is there any possible way that i can my choir to SHUT THIER PIE WHOLES!?

okay i'm in 8th grade and i love singing and i'm alto all right but most of the bes right beside like to yak all period and don't even care about their GPA samething with most of the Altos and Tenors. What can i do? our contest is coming up in less the 4 months.
