Do I need a joint account if direct deposit after filing joint tax return?

My wife and I filed jointly this year. We decided to choose the direct deposit option for our tax refund. Because she is going through a name change, we have not opened a joint account as of yet. Do I have to have a joint account to get the tax refund, or will the IRS deposit the refund in my account? Thanks in advance.
