I take Ativan for acute anxiety attacks and it stopped working for me. Has this ever happened to anyone else?

YES! i found that this happened to me too. I have not been on it nearly long enough to build up a tolerance to it and it does not work as well anymore. I cant take it very much at all now because the side effects are worse than the anxiety. i cant take it if i need to be able function. i cant drive or do anything that requires large mental capacity becasue it makes me so drowsy. But when i was first prescribed it, it worked well and did not make me that drowsy.
