Looking for good scooter or moped under 50cc?

Stay away from the knock-offs if you can, I am telling you that I've seen a lot of people who cannot find parts or anyone who will work on them. I am not sure of the depreciation but I ume that if something like a Honda Metropolitan started out at around $1,600 and since they have been available now for at least 6 years or so I am sure you can get one in your price range. What I am saying is stick with the major manufacturers. Honda (Metropolitan or Ruckus), Yamaha (Vino or Zumo). The only non-Japanese I would consider trying is KYMCO. Their dealer network is growing and they have good quality. Think about what I said there are Honda and Yamaha dealers everywhere and they can get you parts and work on them.
