What is the name of the children's book that includes the following couplet?

"Strawberry shortcake, huckleberry pie / I'm going to punch you right in the eye." I remember having this read to me and some of my clmates at school but I can't remember the title. I remember that the characters were animals and it takes place on a farm and involves some sort of traffic accident (I think). I remember we were laughing hysterically at the story.
